Each year, the Art in the Arboretum event provides artists with a platform to display their creations in one of Wilmington’s prominent juried art shows. The event is scheduled for October 10-12 at the New Hanover County Arboretum and will feature artworks from various mediums.

Celebrating its 29th anniversary, Art in the Arboretum allows artists to exhibit and sell their works in a professionally juried setting within a 7-acre garden. “We’re thrilled to bring Art in the Arboretum back bigger than ever this year, featuring over 90 artist booths showcasing a wide range of talent. It’s a true celebration of creativity in one of Wilmington’s most beautiful settings,” said event organizer Bradley Carter.

The exhibition will include up to 90 booths outdoors, highlighting diverse artworks amid the vibrant scenery of the Arboretum gardens. Additionally, the Education Center will focus on young artists from Dreams and Kids Making It programs, while NHC 4-H Youth Development will conduct an interactive activity for youth.

As a juried show, Art in the Arboretum offers participants an opportunity to present their work alongside peers. Early registration is open until August 11 at $35; after that date, it increases to $45.
