On Tuesday, April 8, former Eugene Ashley High School standout Branton Jernigan’s current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at David F. Couch Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at UNCG Baseball Stadium against Wofford Terriers.
