On Tuesday, April 29, former Topsail High School standout Cooper Cavanaugh’s current college team, the Davidson Wildcats, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Carolina A&T Aggies.

The game took place at Wilson Field. This was their second matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Wilson Field against George Washington Colonials.
