The following day, June 18, 2025, he emphasized the importance of passing the One Big Beautiful Bill in the Senate by tweeting “It’s time for the Senate to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill that puts American manufacturing FIRST. NC-07 workers and businesses are ready to lead!” This highlights his advocacy for prioritizing American manufacturing and supporting local workers and businesses.

David Rouzer has served in Congress since replacing Mike McIntyre in 2015 after previously serving in the North Carolina Senate from 2009 to 2013. Born in Landstuhl, West Germany in 1972, he now resides in Wilmington and holds a BS degree from North Carolina State University obtained in 1994.
