Rep. David Rouzer, who represents North Carolina’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on July 23, 2025, highlighting his recent activities and positions on both local and international issues.
On July 23, 2025, Rouzer wrote about a meeting with agricultural leaders: “I was proud to welcome the Corn Growers Association of North Carolina to Washington! Later that day, he addressed an ongoing human rights issue abroad: “Two years ago today, July 23, 2023, Dr. Gubad Ibadoghlu was unjustly imprisoned in Azerbaijan. His freedom is still being denied. In another post on July 23, Rouzer commented on leadership changes within Congress: “Congratulations to Congressman Mike Flood on becoming chairman! Rouzer has represented North Carolina’s 7th District since 2015 after succeeding Mike McIntyre and previously served in the North Carolina Senate from 2009 to 2013. Born in Landstuhl, West Germany in 1972 and currently residing in Wilmington, Rouzer graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994.
