On Sunday, April 13, former John T. Hoggard High School standouts Logan Ponnett and Spencer Nolan’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Pirates this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against North Carolina Tar Heels.
