New Hanover County is inviting residents to apply for various board and committee positions. The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners aims to engage citizens in county governance through these appointments.

Positions are open on several boards, including the Airlie Gardens Foundation Board of Directors, the New Hanover County Adult Home Care Community Advisory Committee, and the New Hanover County Board of Mechanical Examiners. Categories for this board include Class I Journeyman Mechanic and NC Registered Mechanical Engineer.

Other opportunities include roles on the New Hanover County Commission on African American History, Heritage, and Culture with categories in Education Community and Faith Community. The Cooperative Extension Advisory Council and Health and Human Services Board are also seeking members, with categories such as At-Large, Dentist, Physician, Psychologist, and Veterinarian.
