Rep. David Rouzer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing North Carolina’s 7th district, recently shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets. His messages highlighted topics ranging from agriculture to international affairs and energy production.

On March 18, Rep. Rouzer celebrated National Ag Day with a message acknowledging the contributions of farmers, ranchers, and producers. He emphasized their role in supporting the economy and stated his commitment to advocating for empowering agricultural policies. “Happy National Ag Day! Today, we celebrate the hardworking farmers, ranchers, and producers who feed our nation and fuel our economy. Agriculture supports 1,524,239 jobs across NC and 115,000 in NC-07! Later that day, Rep. Rouzer addressed the ongoing conflict involving Hamas and Israel. He pointed out that while Israel accepted ceasefire agreements brokered by the United States, Hamas rejected them. He urged continued U.S. support for Israel’s defense needs: “Hamas had the opportunity to end the war months ago by surrendering and releasing the hostages, but chose not to. While Israel accepted two ceasefire agreements brokered by the United States, Hamas rejected them. The U.S. must ensure Israel has the support and resources necessary…”

On March 19, Rep. Rouzer shared his experience visiting the Brunswick Nuclear Plant in North Carolina. He praised North Carolina’s significant contribution to nuclear power production in America: “Great to visit the Brunswick Nuclear Plant on Monday! North Carolina ranks among the top five states in nuclear power production, playing a key role in generating clean, safe, and reliable American-made energy. Thanks to those who took the time to give me a tour of the facility!”
