Soil and water district supervisors join Eagles Island Task Force

A significant number of the voting members from the Soil and Water Conservation District have joined the Eagles Island Task Force. Although this task force operates independently from New Hanover County Government, the Board of Supervisors is announcing their meetings publicly to maintain transparency due to their involvement.

The task force conducts its meetings virtually via Zoom on the third Friday of each month, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The schedule for the upcoming meetings in 2025 is as follows:

– March 21
– April 16
– May 16
– June 20
– July 18
– August 15
– September 19
– October 17
– November 21
– December 19
