In his Facebook post, Davis said the joint commission includes members from both houses of the state legislature. The commission makes an annual report to the governor on the operations of the state’s governmental apparatus.

Davis, who is serving his fourth term in the state legislature, has served on several commissions and committees, including the Legislative Research Commission, the Joint Legislative Economic Development and Global Engagement Committee, the Joint Legislative Program Evaluation Oversight Committee and the General Statutes Commission.
