University of North Carolina, Wilmington issued the following announcement on July 22.
The Colonial Athletic Association's Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2021 semester features 256 student-athletes from UNCW.
A total of 2,731 student-athletes were recognized Thursday by conference officials. Six different UNCW teams placed at least 20 student-athletes on the list, while 12 programs reached double-digits in honorees.
Recipients must participate in a CAA-sponsored sport, attain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 during the designated academic term and be enrolled as a full-time student.
