CFCC Announces New Nursing Class for 2022 Spring Semester

Cape Fear Community College issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.

Cape Fear Community College is pleased to announce the approval of a new Associate Degree Nursing class beginning in the 2022 Spring semester. The application period is open until Oct. 7, 2021. Applications will also be accepted for the 2022 fall semester.

“Cape Fear Community College is excited to expand our nursing program to help meet the ever-growing demand for nurses in our region,” said CFCC President, Jim Morton. “Training health care professionals is a vital part of CFCC’s role in our region.”

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) curriculum provides high-quality education to individuals seeking a career as a registered nurse. CFCC’s Associate Degree Nursing program is consistently ranked among the best programs in the state by RegisteredNursing.org . In addition, CFCC’s ADN students had a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) this year.

Dr. Mary Ellen Naylor, CFCC Dean of Health and Human Services said, “The success of our nursing students exemplifies the commitment CFCC has made to prepare graduates who are dedicated and eager to be part of a team and meet the healthcare needs of our community.”
