Cape Fear Community College issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
Due to the decrease in COVID-19 cases, face coverings are now OPTIONAL for students, employees, and guests at Cape Fear Community College campus locations. Wearing face coverings is now a personal choice at CFCC.
The College will continue to monitor local, state, and federal developments, guidelines, and requirements and make updates as appropriate. CFCC encourages vaccination against the COVID-19 virus. Vaccines are free and readily available. Schedule a vaccine or booster .
