City of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Mar. 11.

The Wilmington City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 inside Council Chambers, located a City Hall at 102 North Third Street.

Items of interest include:

• Resolution supporting a supplemental request for additional Surface Transportation Block Grant Program-Direct Attributable Funding in the amount of $1,873,469 and to provide a portion of the (20%) local match in the amount of $165,793 for the Wilmington Multi-modal Transportation Center Phase 1B. The remaining local match in the amount of $165,793 will be provided by New Hanover County contingent upon approval by the Board of Commissioners on March 21, 2022.
