The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's Annual Women's Professional Development Event has always been equal parts networking, camaraderie, inspiration, and satisfaction that you're doing your part to advance the success of women in Wilmington's business community.
In addition to valuable networking time with business leaders from our area's top employers, our program will feature a keynote address from Executive Vice President & CEO of Duke Energy Carolinas, Julie S. Janson. In her role at Duke Energy, Janson has responsibility for regulatory and legislative affairs – and the long-term strategic direction, growth, and overall financial performance of Duke Energy's regulated utilities in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Energy transition: Janson will join us to provide a behind-the-scenes look at how the company is transforming the energy grid through cleaner sources while balancing reliability, affordability and equity for communities. She’ll also share her career journey and some tips for sustaining personal energy through times of change.

Tickets for Wilmington Chamber members are $55 each and nonmembers are $65 each. Tables of 8 are available for $440 for members and $520 for nonmembers.
Each ticket purchase comes with:
- Chicken California - Dredged chicken breast, California sun-dried tomatoes, and wild mushroom cream sauce served with mashed potatoes and green beans almondine and a desert spread.
- Vegetarian option: Penne Primavera - Medley of sautéed vegetables, penne pasta, tomato cream sauce & Parmesan cheese and a dessert spread.

After parking, find your way to the lobby for check-in. Registered attendees will receive a name tag that will serve as your ticket before being directed to the ballroom. A coat check will be available near registration.
