During a special ceremony attended by family, friends, and instructors, BCC’s most recent Esthetics Program graduates celebrated their success. Leading the way was program director Takesha Grady who could not be more proud of her students. Assisting her with the presentation of certificates was instructor Rosemary Vice.
Graduates present included Suthasinee Skewes, Yuleidi Nunez, and Alexis McCray. These trained skin care professionals are now are eligible to sit for NC state board licensure exams. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, estheticians are in demand with hiring expected to grow 21 percent over the next 10 years.
