All offices for the city of Wilmington will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Dec. 27, and Monday, Jan. 2 for the upcoming holidays.
Just a reminder that the city is offering free on-street parking Friday, Dec. 23, through Tuesday, Dec. 27, if you need to finish up any holiday shopping.
Recycling & Trash Services
Recycling & Trash collection services will not change scheduled collection days during the Christmas holiday. Please have carts out before 6am on your regular service day. Appointment collections (bulky, metal, or electronic items) for Friday Dec. 23 through Wednesday Dec. 28 must be scheduled before 4pm on Thursday, Dec. 22. Please call 910.341.7875 with any questions or appointment needs.
For the New Year's holiday: City Recycling & Trash Services will collect Monday, Jan. 2 routes on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Monday customers should have their carts out before 6am Wednesday (the evening before collection is best practice). Appointment services such as bulky, metal, or electronics pick-up for Tuesday, Jan. 3, must be scheduled before 4pm on Friday, Dec. 30.
