Congratulations to Grace Ferrell, an 8th grader at Charles P. Murray Middle School. Grace has won both the Stamp Defiance Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution local Essay competition as well as the state essay contest.
Later this spring, Grace will attend the DAR State Conference luncheon in Raleigh. We wish her the best of luck in the Southeastern Division competition.
