By providing a supportive and stimulating environment, early childhood education helps children develop important skills and habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Together New Hanover County Schools and New Hanover County Government, NC Commissioners have continuously demonstrated their commitment to ensuring the children in New Hanover County can access quality early childhood education to ensure Kindergarten readiness and educational success for all.
Joined with the Board of Education, Commissioners, Dr. Lynn Moody and Greg Alcorn, the district accepted 300 ApSeed devices that will be used both in school and at home with the students of Johnson Pre K to promote literacy and encourage mastery of shapes, numbers, letters and colors.
