The Pender County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Atkinson Gymnasium on Sunday, March 12th. The shooting occurred around 5pm.
The shooting occurred during a youth basketball session and it is reported that multiple middle school and high school aged juveniles were present. No 911 calls were received regarding this shooting.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone who has information regarding this shooting to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 910-259-1212.
