In the fourth quarter of 2023, Pender Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility stood out as the third largest nursing home in Pender County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 43 beds available, 41 less than the average in Pender County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 33.4 residents during that period.

Pender Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility had an overall rating of 3 from the CMS, which is higher than the average of 2.6 recorded for nursing homes in North Carolina.

During the quarter, Woodbury Wellness Center, Inc. stood out as the largest nursing home in Pender County, with 112 beds available. The Laurels of Pender came in second place, with 98 beds available.
