Today, Senator Ted Budd from North Carolina shared a video statement in which he expressed his support for the inauguration of President Trump as the 47th President and JD Vance as the 50th Vice President of the United States.

In his statement, Senator Budd commented on why he believes Americans chose to re-elect President Trump. "I believe that the American people re-elected President Trump because they were sick and tired of business as usual in Washington, DC. They’ve been sick of it for many years. They’ve seen lackluster wages, higher prices, unsafe streets, and a world in chaos," he said.

Senator Budd criticized politicians who have told working families that their struggles are normal. He emphasized Trump's message as one filled with hope and ambition: "President Trump said otherwise. His message was one of inspiration and hope, of big dreams and a higher purpose."

He also mentioned Trump's vision for America: "He has promised to turn the page from an era of mediocrity to a time of unparalleled prosperity for all. He called it 'a new golden age' for the United States."

Highlighting Trump's unconventional approach, Senator Budd stated: "Look, President Trump is an unconventional guy. He’s an out-of-the-box thinker. He’s chosen outsiders for his cabinet. His approach is different by design." According to Budd, this unique strategy has previously brought success to America and aims to do so again.
