JaJuan Carr, former Pender High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Tuesday, March 18 in Division II NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Tuesday, March 18, former Pender High School standout JaJuan Carr’s current collegiate team the UNC Pembroke Braves lost 76-74 against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center, this was the first game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears during the championship.

JaJuan Carr’s hometown is Burgaw and game position is guard.
