On Thursday, May 1, former Topsail High School standout Emma Neeley’s current college team, the Methodist Monarchs, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.
The game took place at Edge Field. This was their third matchup against the Battling Bishops this season.
The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at Edge Field against Southern Virginia Knights.
