The University of North Carolina at Wilmington Board of Trustees will hold its committee meetings on April 23, with the regular quarterly meeting scheduled for April 24 in the Burney Center, according to an announcement on April 16.

The upcoming meetings are important as they provide a platform for university leadership to discuss and make decisions on key matters affecting the institution. Some agenda items may be addressed in closed session, as permitted by the Open Meetings Act.

The schedule features a revised format for this quarter. For committee meetings held consecutively in the same room during the afternoon, each subsequent meeting will start fifteen minutes after the previous one ends. The Thursday schedule includes sessions of the External Affairs Committee at 11:00 a.m., Business Affairs Committee at 1:00 p.m., Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee at 2:15 p.m., and Educational Planning & Programs Committee at 3:30 p.m. All sessions will take place in Ballroom C of the Burney Center.

On Friday, April 24, the full Board will convene its regular quarterly meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m., also in Ballroom C.
