On Wednesday, March 26, former John T. Hoggard High School standout Tyler Jumper’s current college team, the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Christopher Newport Captains.

The game took place at Captains Park. This was their first matchup against the Captains this season.

The Battling Bishops’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Gil Coan Field against Brevard Tornados.
