Town of Burgaw issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
The Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to announce that we have been approved for a matching grant through Burke and Barrs Recreation. The new equipment will be ordered soon and is set to have a schedule of around 8-10 weeks for installation. At the time of installation, Harrell Memorial Park will be closed to the pubic in order to complete all construction in a timely manner. Residents will be sent proper notification before hand. Below is an image of the proposed play equipment. Special thanks to Town Commissioners and staff for the assistance with this project.
