The Publix Torch Icon Campaign is going on now-January 22, 2023. Special Olympics NC is very excited for it’s eighth year in partnership with the Publix Torch Icon Campaign. The campaign involves law enforcement officers from your community who are also involved in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics North Carolina.
In just seven years, Publix has helped Special Olympics NC raise nearly $1 million through the icon sales campaign! The nearly 40,000 athletes participating year-round in SONC programs free of charge extend a thank you for this support! You truly are making a difference in the lives of so many individuals with intellectual disabilities fulfilling their sports’ dreams!
Special Olympics NHC and your Sheriff’s Office will be back visiting our local Publix stores next Saturday. We hope you get a chance to come by and support this great cause.
