City Offices To Close For Upcoming Holidays

All offices for the city of Wilmington will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 26, and Wednesday, Dec. 27, as well as Monday, Jan. 1 for the upcoming holidays.

Just a reminder that all on-street, metered parking in downtown Wilmington will be free Sunday, Dec. 24 through Wednesday, Dec. 27, for any last-minute shopping needs!

Recycling & Trash Services

City Recycling & Trash Services will collect all Monday, Dec. 25 customers on Wednesday, Dec. 27. Services include trash, yard waste and blue-week recycling. Customers should have their carts out before 6am Wednesday morning (the evening before collection is best practice). All other collections will remain on the regular weekly schedule. Any appointment collections (bulky, metal, or electronic items) for Tuesday 12/26 through Thursday 12/28 must be scheduled before 4pm Friday, Dec. 22. Please call us at 910.341.7875 with any questions or appointment needs.
