All offices within the City of Wilmington will be closed on March 29 in observance of the Good Friday holiday. This closure was announced by city officials and will impact various services provided by the municipality.

According to the announcement, the closure of city offices will not affect the Recycling & Trash Services collection, including yard waste and scheduled bulky items. Residents are reminded to have their carts placed at the curb on Thursday evening or before 6 a.m. on Friday to ensure uninterrupted service.

For those in need of scheduling bulky, metal, or electronics collection for Monday, April 1st, it is advised to make the arrangements no later than Thursday, March 28 by 4:30 p.m. Individuals can contact 910-341-7875 to schedule a pick-up or to speak with a customer service representative regarding any queries.

The temporary closure of city offices on Good Friday aligns with the holiday schedule observed by many organizations and institutions during this time of the year. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and make necessary arrangements to accommodate the office closure on March 29.
