Beginning Monday, June 10 at 9:00 a.m., tree maintenance crews will commence work along Market Street to remove 18 diseased trees primarily between 17th and 21st streets. Full street closures for the area are planned, and detour routes will be posted. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by the end of June.

While these unhealthy trees present a safety risk to the public right of way, they will be replanted during the next tree planting season this winter.
